I bought the Command Car during my summer vacation in the Netherlands from a small Hobby Shop we came along coincidentally.
Well, I couldn't resist - so here it is. A good exercise for the Tamiya SAS Jeep which will get some additional PE parts then ...
I did some minor modifications to depict an Airborne SAS Jeep, according to some reference pics I moved the spare well to the front, cut down the front bumper and put the additional Jerry Can between the front seats.
The figures are from the "British troops, Caen 1944" Masterbox kit. They do not show any rank insignia for fighting behind enemy lines but sport the maroon Airborne beret with the SAS badge.
Hope you like it !

Looks really good, goes to show you can get these old kits looking good with a bit of time and effort

Looking really good, the figures and the base are a nice addition. Shows how something nice can be built without going overboard
