Scale75 "Blood and Sand" Roman gladiator

Post by HamilkarBarkas »

Here the final reveal of my entry of the Roman gladiator. It was a pleasure to assemble and paint this one, the level of detail was superb (i can highly recommend it!).
I hope you enjoyed my building thread aswell as the building review video.

Awesome work! Love the shading and shadowing, it really looks like the sun is coming down on him, blinding his about-to-be very dead opponent.

Incredible as always :bow:: :clap:

I made them with thinned down red oil paint, i showed the process of doing this effect in the video documentation about this project.

Excellent work Michael. The blood is spot on, I was going to suggest it could do with being some what glossier, but I am sure blood on sand soon dries and dulls down, so great work there!

And brilliant work on the skin tones and metallics as well.! :thumb1: :thumb1:
