Sherman Firefly 1/35 scale

Post by hansolo »

Hi Guys,

Another pimp edition.
I had a very old model laying around, which was not a regular build model
but one with a little electro motor inside. It is a model with bad detailing and few parts.
I sanded and cut away the worst ones and replaced them with better ones.
I also added parts that were missing all together.
I added a stowage reck and some stowage to dress it up and cover up some
of the bad details. And then repainted it.
It's not a Panzer III, but it turned out ok and was a nice challenge.

Great job. Curious is the driver a part time landscape gardener :) the rolls in back up close look like grass.

Nice weathering too.

The tarps turned out less smooth then intended.
It's a hell of a gardening truck though. :thumb1:

I would keep that process in mind for fleece type blankets. You remember those pink/blue/purple type blankets your gran had? Would be good for a bed on a WWII dio.

British tank. You can't have a quick game of football (soccer to the colonials) without a proper grass pitch, that just wouldn't be on, old boy.
