Cheers guys, everything has now been washed and weathered using Ultimate dark dirt wash, this was then removed leaving it behind in all the recesses etc and then it has all been matt varnished.

Replaced the kit pe bets with some eduard fabric ones, bit fiddly to assemble but look ok, glued in place and then weathered with Ultimate dark dirt wash and vallejo black acrylic wash. I need to add another tab to that right hand belt as it must have fallen off :

Added some wiring to the battery and radio boxes, i used fine speaker wire and braided it into sections and then tied them together

Looks a great fit, sadly this build has to go to one side for a few days while i sort out my news show segments and some Ultimate and personal jobs at home. Hoepfully i can get some more work done to the 262 over the week end though. I like to work on these 1/32 kits in sections having a break in-between.

So all the fuselage is now buttoned up, needs a little filling and sanding in a few spots, nothing major though.

Got all the engine weathered using metal and rust pigments as well an Mig oil and grease wash. All the engine piping and framework has been painted (mostly in alclads) and glued in position and I've test fitted all the cowlings to ensure they fit properly, which they do :cheers2: I gave it all an oil pin wash and depending on how weathered i do the fuselage i may add more later on in the build

AH... Ok.
I thought that you meant that there was more around the cowling frames.
Aside from the fuselage bits.

She's stalled at the moment, with doing the 1/32 corsair its too much to do 2 tamiya 1/32 kits at the same time, so I'm thinking of shelving her for a few weeks while i get the corsair finished and i may start a quick simple build in the meantime to help get the mojo flowing again :cheers2:
