Stalinetz with goodies

Post by EagleDriver »

Hey guys!
This is what I did over the last 15 days.
LZ engine w/radiator set and some cables added from me.
Tested new AK metal paste and it worked fine. Its not the best tool out there, but its cleaner to work with compared with powder graphite.

That is simply beautiful! The depth of the colors, the finish, the intensity of the grain!

Oh, wait, you meant the model? Well that looks fantastic too!

(Seriously, that is one gorgeous hunk of wood it's sitting on!)

Nope. Not a decal. Its painted with the masks that I produce. I have some sets which I made and sell around. The idea is exactly to avoid decaling armor model which is hard to do - making it glossy, then making it sating or matt and cover the decal takes a lot more time than to just place a masking tape stencil, paint on and continue.
