Tamiya King Tiger 1/35 - Finished at last

Post by Lego »

So I finally beat the kids off with the stick and completed this Tiger Royal as the Canadians would call it.

Never modeled a KT before and I really enjoyed building this kit. Tamiya as usual supplied a good kit all bar one criticism. The netting they give for the grills instead of some pe is quite frankly a disgrace! They really should just look around at the pe being supplied in kits from Trumpeter and Dragon etc....

I should also mention now that I think of it, the unit I modeled might not have had a KT lol. I got in touch with my feminine side and liked the colour because it goes with my shoes and chose this unit  I found a reference to this Tiger and I think Tamiya got it wrong imo
