Gutted doesn't quite cover it.

A few weeks ago my dad celebrated his 70th birthday, I briefly entertained the notion of trying to finish this this and give it to him as a gift, since he was the fella that took me to my first airshow when I was a wee one and I actually saw the Golden Hawks preform.

But sanity reasserted itself and I decided against it. There just wasn't enough time from when I had the idea and he would have his big day.
However, that didn't stop me from trying... And now finishing.

I took off as much as I could of the tarnished paint with a Ultimate buffer then touched up the paint as best as I could.
After that I sprayed the whole thing with Aqua gloss, then decaled and hit it with Ultimate dark Dirt.
Then I called it done.

It's a long long way from a good build, but I still like it.
