Looking good now bud....
Hey guppy get a cotton bud in there and remove the wash from the centres of the tracks, the way the wash is made to work it looks better when used like that.T3hGuppy wrote:Yeah abit annoying but nevermindLee wrote:Shame you got a dud wash, easy to recover from them though isn't it

So the rust wash has dried and again looks really light. not sure if that is just to light for my preferences,
Has anyone else used any of these yet? I'm interested what others have experienced.
I like it and think it would work great for light dusty scenes as they have a nice pastel shade.
Cheers buddy. I think it will add a nice contrast to the end result as the camo is very rust coloured. Thanks for the heads up.Paul wrote:Hey guppy get a cotton bud in there and remove the wash from the centres of the tracks, the way the wash is made to work it looks better when used like that.T3hGuppy wrote:Yeah abit annoying but nevermindLee wrote:Shame you got a dud wash, easy to recover from them though isn't it

Yeah you maybe right. But I wasn't planning on leaving it as is but to wipe it off where I don't want it. Same as I would with any wash.Lee wrote:Gups - I have a feeling you're not using the wash as it's meant to be used mate.
It's one of those that you put on allow to dry then pull off again with a moistened tissue of cotton bud. You don't just leave it how it drys mate. It's mainly used for recessed panel lines and adding depth to corners and recessed detail.
For an AFV I would recommend spraying it on then pulling it with said cloth.
I would say get your practice tank and give it a go a few different ways.
I think either Paul or myself will do a how to vid very soon for it
HTH bud
Great Idea dude. Was thinking of adding another layer of weathering once the tools etc are all fittedPaul wrote:Looking good mate I think add a darker wash to those tracks say an acrylic or oil wash and it'll complement it well
