"Stalingrad Station" diorama, 1:35 scale

Post by HamilkarBarkas »

I made this diorama in July 2012. A building review series with 4 videos can be found on my Youtube channel.

Fantastic work, love the hand to hand combat with the shovel and helmet, brilliant.

The mkIII is a work of art on its own too, amazing work.

thank you for your nice words about my diorama :)
Masterbox makes such cool figures in unique poses, if i need something special for a diorama i always look through their figure sets and always find something suitable.

Michael, Fantastic diorama.....great tension and drama. The PzIII is wonderful....love the articulation of the road wheels over the tracks.
The figures are great sculpts....you did a terrific job painting them.
Bravo!
Bill.

Michael - Is there any chance you could post your series of videos on this dio in the How To section - Maybe as a tutorial "How to make a Dio" or something similar. Maybe even explain the methods you used and why, with all the materials and how they were used etc etc....

Would be greatly appreciated and would benefit the community a lot....

You do some great work! I'm in the process of painting my first 1/35 figure, and I'm using your YouTube vid as a guide. So, thanks for posting, it's a great help!

Holy moley batman... All the tiny details going on at the same time.
Fantastic eye. I love the lay of the bogies, really pulled of the sense of weight across the tracks. Well done.

This is one of my favorite dioramas on your youtube channel. The videos are interesting to watch and you explain things clearly. I have even taken a few notes for some of my future builds.

Great diorama Michael. I remember when I first saw this dio on Youtube.......terrific construction, realistic weathering, and superb composition.
It gets better each time I see it anew.
