1/48 Focke Wulf Ta-183A 'Huckebein'

Post by wally »

Hello

This is my latest build. Focke Wulf Ta-183A from Tamiya in 1/48. Model was painted using Tamiya paints the RLM 76 underside, the RLM 82 and RLM 83 for camouflage pattern. Yellow stripes painted using XF-3 paint. Weathering was done using oil dark wash from MIG productions. Post shading was done using by spraying smoke paint from Tamiya. Wheels and rockets are weathered by soft pastels. Overall the kit comes together very well and I'm happy about it. Decals comes from the kit and the conform very well after applying decals solution. Markings and the paint skim is off course fictional because before and of WWII only mock-up of this plane was making. I add PE seat belts to the cockpit and the F.O.D. cover for the intake made from the spare parts.

Great work Wally, fantastic, clean build with subtle preshading & weathering that adds this glance of perfection to the whole kit!

Love the colors on this. And as others have mentioned, the finish is super clean.
