Good luck to all paticipants. Ill enjoy following your builds

After a long day out, a nice bath is good for you. Warm water with some washing up liquid really gets the grease out from under your privates. ;)

Ill take the bottom option. Pilot with visor down

Howdy doodly neighboureenos...
(Sorry... been watching the simpsons)
Just a quick post showing the dry fit pics.
Everything was ok. Minor filling but a bit of fussing with the left intake to get it flush at the top. No major fit issues.

Soooo... the plans i had for this build went all loopy.
Was working on the primed kit ready to start painting grey and black on Saturday. My gf was crafting at the table next to me and we were getting all Easter-ry.

This is what happened;

Image

Happy Easter everyone!

I did want to do something more colourful than usual for this but it wasnt til saturday that decided to just go crazy on the kit. Hope you like it. Ill have to do a serious one sometime.

Image

i was hoping to be further along the process before showing. At least a clear coat to make it nice n shiny. Alas twos not to be. As you can see it needs a few(many!) touch ups before clear coat time.

Image

Airbrushed the citadel green. The orange camo is a mix of vallejo yellow and scarlet red and was airbrushed freehand. Citadel gold on the cans, eyes, vents and yellow zig zag was brushpainted (and needs touching up)

Next steps;
Check bunny ears fit under canopy and reduce pilot size if required.
touch ups.
Decals
Landing gear assembly.

Possibly a base.

Thanks for stopping by.

...forgot to mention the bunny ears.
Pipe cleaners dyed pink then cut to size.
Trimmed the base, drilled holes into pilots nogen.
Painted the inside of the ears white, bent to shape then ca glued in.
The pilots not finished yet. Ill do a better post on her when she is.
Have a good one!

Hi folks

Not much time during the week to work on the builds but managed to start on a base. Just an egg shape drawn on cardboard, cut out and traced a few times. The cutouts stuck together with pva, then covored with plaster de paris.

Work in progress

Looking good! :th: How on earth did you get the canopy to stay open? I was considering this for mine, but thought it would just be far too much faffing about as there didn't seem to be much of a contact area.
