Italeri 1/35 German P IV

Post by Gb64c »

This came out ok, but was an old Italeri kit, no numbers on the sprues and poor directions, barrel gave me a lot of trouble and forgot some parts and found them while weathering, all is well and it is on the shelf waiting for the Panzer Grenadier.

Painted with Tamiya German Grey, Future, decals, future, oil washes, dry brush, pigments, Mig and Vallejo, dry brush again.

I love the weathering on that mate and the dirt and rust, wonderful. :thumb2:

When building Panzer Grey kits, I find it difficult at times to define the rubber around the road wheels so tend to paint them black
rather than black grey.

Yep you are right hard to define, but so many of the Ger armor is Yellow, I wanted to build some dark menacing kits.

For the road wheels, I use the Tamiya Rubber Black xf 85 only available in the mini bottle and not in the USA, nor is the Dark Iron xf 84, which I use for the tracks. I recently bought some rubber Valejo, but it seems very light.

Ran out of 84 but heading to Japan in a few weeks and will restock.
