Royal Navy F-4 phantom

Just checking did the royal navy's F-4 phantoms that were on uss Saratoga in 1969 see any combat in Vietnam??? Planning to build my matchbox phantom

I don't think so. I believe it was just carrier exercises around Malta. Apparently the rn jets buckled the carrier deck as they had more power and were at a steeper angle than the U.S. jets!
