Dragon 1/35 king tiger porsche turret w/ zimmerit

hello!!!
guys, this is my first GB and i will be doing the King tiger from dragon
i bought this beauty earlier today from my local hobby shop



gonna do the normandy version with a 3 color camo



i will paint the tank sometime before the GB ends because my local hobby shop ran out of all 3 colours for the paint and just gonna wait until they restock those colours. an what are the relacements for dark yellow in revell or mr colour

anyway this is the sprue shot.

I have the Henschel version of that kit, almsot bought the Porsche one but as I'd done a Tamiya Porsche KT I didn't. Don't think I got preformed PE or an antenna in mine.

I like the boxart version but that is not for a Normandy vehicle so it will be for a other time

the kit is a beauty it fits perfectly and the zimmerit just looks awesome

yesterday i got the whole day to my self and was able to complete most part of the tank



haven't add any accessories yet, will add them ass soon as i paint the tank so it will be easier
will paint the tank when my local hobby shop have restock the required paint that will be used on the tank

have some popcorn!!!

so yesterday i got time to continue to build the model and i finished doing the accessories like hammers, shovels, axes, etc



tried to to the A part the using PE but the PE part that is required is too small to be used and i'm not that great with PE parts so i came up with a solution to use the plastic parts provided in the kit as you can see in the picture, lower right, but the plastic part is very long so i cut is according to size and sculpt it to look more of less similar to the other plastic part that i will be using



then i add the PE part covering which looks very nice and it turns out to be really nice



did the same with the hammer and axe



Dragon accidentally switched the part number where the long rectangular part was written in the instruction sheet is MA43 while MA43 was the smaller part

Super looking build and great photographs, this looks way better than i thought when i saw the box at my local hobby shop, always an interesting subject for me and i will follow your build progress
