Nozzles and sadness

Post by Duck »

Well, the 2nd airbrush has broken after extensive use for its short life of only 4 months... *Slams head violently again wall...*
Basically the same issue, I use a cheap unbranded Japanese airbrush so when it does go wrong, I don't cry like a babby, but the nozzle has broken off, is there a fix? or is it time to make it a decorative piece?

regards

Either you will have to learn to use less force when attaching the nozzle or switch to a design like the Harder & Steenbeck where the nozzle "drops in" inside of being screwed on. As an added bonus the nozzle on the H&S is much larger, to the point there is actually a chance of finding it if it's dropped on a carpet.

Im far from knowing what im talking about when it comes to airbrushed, but on the back of my two previous airbrushes there were a twist lever which controlled the spray and needle, is it on that one<?I cant really see one

So you mean they have a needle restricter on the back of them, no the ultra doesn't have that, to be fair though i don't think you really need them with the control offered by quality airbrushes.

If not the evolution does have that feature, but costs nearer £100
