Choices, choices....

Post by RangerNeil »

Assuming we have move house by the time the build starts (we STILL haven't found a place yet!!) I am torn between either doing the matching pair of the Mil-10 (and possibly the 10K) and the Sikorsky CH-54A Sky Crane as these are virtually identical function machines

or going for the daddy of them all - the Mil-V-12 which holds the world record for heavy lift helicopters of 40 tons.

Decision, decisions - which to do.....

Oooooohhhh! I like the Skycrane - I used to see them around quite a bit - but the Mi-10 is so bug like! I'd have a tough choice too.

That's a really tough choice - but I'm with digger on this one, I'd love to see you tackle that Mi-12 :cheers2:

Thanks guys - got to admit that's my leaning too. I think its going to depend on having moved - and having done so how much free space we'll have to put the finished item - as you can imagine - it ain't small....

I think I've got to go with the Sikorsky. Definitely one of my favorite helicopters.
