Hi Guys, Just stopping in to introduce myself. My name is Eric, I use the nom de gurre in my username. I have modeled for decades, loved it as a kid with my Dad, and got back into the hobby back in 1990 during the Gulf War. I prefer contemporary military subjects, but have been looking to go back to my roots in WWII subjects.
I am a Veteran (US Army) and a retired Law Enforcement Officer (since April 2020) and now have plenty of time on my hands with our winter and cold months approaching. I'm most commonly hanging around ARC, Armorama, Large Scale Planes and of course Hyperscale and Missing-Lynx.
Today, I'm looking for plans for paint racks. I have all types of paint...too much paint....too little space to organize. If any of you have plans or could point to a site with them, I would greatly appreciate it.
Eric

Hello and welcome
Sounds like you have been a guy right in the middle of the action
Lots of thin ply paint racks on the market...or you could make your own
This is a good thread to have a look at workbenches

Thanks for the link. Yes, I have over the years been in the thick of things but missed the May-June and beyond chaos. It's good to be retired and have peace of mind after so many years.
Re: Greetings from the Great Lakes Region USA
Making your own paint rack is the most satisfying way to go I believe. If you do add in lots of space capacity or you will find yourself redesigning or building another and reorganizing too soon.
In order to maximize space differently spaced shelves to accommodate the size of bottles will be a issue. Also if you elect to go the vertical route ( most space efficient ) I would make the shelves deep enough to be able to store a spare bottle behind the first and a system to stop the bottles from sliding around disrupting it's neighbours when you go to pick one out.
