Lots of tanks so far by the looks of it. I might give a tank a crack, never done one before.

Give it a go and see if you like it :cheers2:

Compared to an aircraft kit there'll be a lot more wheels involved but you won't have to faff about masking the canopy :)

Would a T34-76 with 1943/44 markings qualify for the build?

Does it matter if the vehicle saw combat? I'm referencing stuff like a F8F and F7F. Technically they both were up and running; but, the war ended before they saw front line use (they were in route to the front.)

I'd also like clarification on late war paint schemes on earlier war vehicles.

Edit: I actually read the directions and it seems like either of these situations would be okay.

I have never attempted an on line build before so I beg forgiveness for stupid questions up front.

Do variants qualify? I have a A6M5 Type 52 Zero that I understand did not become operational until 1944.
A few pieces are removed from the tree but nothing has been started.
Thanks
Rick

Sounds like anything still moving at that stage of the war would be ok. It's a very wide parameter.

I’m pretty sure this is Ok, but just thought I’d get a ruling.

USAAF B-25D ‘Pacific Theatre’

From Wiki…

The North American B-25 Mitchell is a medium bomber that was introduced in 1941 and named in honour of Major General William "Billy" Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation.[2] Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theatre of World War II.

(I’m not going to do a tank, all those tack pieces look like an absolute nightmare).

Can someone confirm the above? ^^^^
I've never done a Group Build before and don't want to be wrong.

Cheers all.

With regards to... "Any military model that was built or utilized in the late war period defined as Jan 1st, 1944 to September 2, 1945."

One of the decal sets says it was utilized in 1944 so it should be good. I'm not really in charge of anything around here, just a casual observer. Though, I don't think anyone would give you grief if you built of that kit. :cheers2:

Cheers mate.
TBH, I haven't even opened the box yet. I'll see what the decal set indicates and advise.
Thanks again.

Go for it. We know the B25 was in frontline service until the end of the war so full steam ahead mate.

I have really buggered up on this GB :wall: So sorry.
I ordered a 1/32 Spitfire and figures and all. But I like the early Spit's beautiful ellipical wings and shape, so I got a MKI
Then I see it is LATE WWII GB and certainly this version was not flown then :bash:
To avoid the hacking of authorities on the subject, I chose to bow out....works as my mojo is at an absolute low
I shall return with new vigor in the new year

Mojo is a fleeting whimsical moment and no doubt it will return. I hope it doesn't take 2 months though. A 1/32 scale spit would have been a nice build, is it a Tamiya ? I'm going to get a zeke sometime. :cheers2: and best wishes until we see you again. :th: :th: :cheers2:
