You need to use a public platform to upload them to before you post them, so you can’t just upload photos stored on a computer etc , most of us use Flickr.

When you put the picture link in your post make sure you put [ img ] in front & [ /img ] at the end but without spaces, hope this makes sense.

No worries, you also need to convert the Flickr link to a BBcode link which is then what you will use in your post , use this site & scroll to the bottom & past the Flickr link

The forum is actually integrated with some popular hosting sites, so you can simply select which images to insert into your posts/replies (having already uploaded them to flickr, for example) without having to mess around with code. Have a look at this thread for instructions: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25080

Once you sign up to a site like Flickr, which I don't much care for, or shutterfly... once you have uploaded your image to your Album (or whatever) simply right-click on the photo, select "copy image location". Then here on the forum, select the little square box with the sun and mountain. It will give you this:

[ img] [ /img]

right click in the middle and paste your image location that you just copied. :thumb2:

I use Imgur, with each photo you have a code / link generated to the forum

No wonder I couldn’t get my Flickr images to work, I hadn’t linked my Flickr account to this site :bash: :wall:
