ISM Car Modelling Techniques Guide - Part 2

Post by Paul »

Part 2 of my ISM Car Modelling Techniques Guide is now up on the ISM channel, they are posted every sunday at 12pm :)

A sneak peek at the Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza '99 i'm building for the Car techniques series on ISM You tube.

The review is here

We sell the kit at www.umpretail.com here https://www.umpretail.com/collections/t ... rc99-24218

Part 1 and 2 are up on the Channel and parts 3 and 4 are all filmed and uploaded to ISM You tube sheduled for release each Sunday at 12pm Uk time.

Part 1 is here

The last part i filmed yesterday covered clear coats in this Case 2k clear. This is how the Subaru looks with the Pro-range 2k straight from the airbrush, once flatted and polished it'll look alot shinier :)

Just trying to catch something i`m not sure of between parts 1 and 2.
You discuss sanding at the end of part one ...were you just referring to the seams you took care of ? or did you you go over the whole body at all in preparation for degrease and prime ?
Gonna be another awesome build :th:
If it`s got a Dragon or a Dwarf in it .....I`m out ! :pistols:

Just been doing some catching up - this is great Paul, and there's so much of the prep work & other techniques that can be carried over to other genres.

Nice work mate :cheers2:
