Builds for Cold War GB?

Post by SimpleScaleModels »

Hi,

I made this post to see what other people are thinking of building for the Cold War GB. I am building a M113 in West German markings. A pic is tagged below and i will also be doing a diorama of a training scene probably.

I am going to build a Mig 25 (Foxbat). I wasn't planning on entering, but I won this model in the MFH auction and think it will work well for the Cold War GB.

I just realized that my foxbat will be a little anachronistic. The earliest marking option on the actual kit (Mig-25RB) is 1992 and the end of the cold war is 1991(ish). I have ordered a different decal sheet and will be building the model as the plane flown by Viktor Ivanovich Belenko in 1976. It is just that his plane was a Mig-25P. Oh well.

If you don't mention it, no one will notice and the mods wont send the boys round to break your legs :th:

Sadly not, I don't have a build for the SIG, just interested in the subject and a fan of the movie :th:
