Resin wheels

Post by Garion77 »

Hi everyone, first time I work with resin. I bought resin wheels from Eduard for their BF109e. Dont have any problems with the cutting part...but what about cleaning the wheels without loosing any details because of The way the wheel is cast. Seems like all Eduard's resin wheels are made like that.
Thanks for the help
Francis

All one can say is to be very, very cautious with sanding those wheels. Use high gradation sanding paper (or sponges, they're very useful) and don't push too hard. You should be able not to damage the tyre tread while moving out resin support.
