95th Rifleman from Imperial Gallery
95th Rifleman from Imperial Gallery
Hi, just started on a 120mm 95th Rifleman from Imperial Gallery, I picked this up at Telford a couple of years ago and it's been lurking in the figure stash.
There are no instructions or additional detail on the box so no idea who the sculptor is.
Here are a couple of pics so far

Re: 95 Rifleman from Imperial Gallery
Parts after cleanup, some seams and flash to deal with and also small air bubbles to fill

Re: 95 Rifleman from Imperial Gallery
Parts cleans and washed, and primed with Tamiya spray primer

Started getting the main colours on the body, with some shading started
Started work on the head, it's easier to paint this then attach it and touch up any issues

Really liking the shading work on the uniform
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Thanks, I do a number of figures, this one is a bit interesting as there are no locating points and no instructions for equipment placing but nothing a bit of research didn't resolve

Put some highlights on the trousers and touched up some places. As he is on a muddy base I used some washes on the trousers to get them dusty, but not happy so I will redo these

Also did some work on the base, which has a Broken waggon wheel on it, this was wood finished with oils over a buff base, some rust was added over the iron part followed by various mud colours
Pretty happy with it so far

More details added, it's a bit tricky as there are no location marks or instructions so getting the rifle, arms and hands aligned will be interesting
