Looking for a low-budget Stuka kit in 1/48 scale

Post by SkyPainter303 »

This is proving difficult. I can't find a nice 1/48 Stuka for less than $30 USD delivered. The old Revellogram Stuka kits look awful, the Hobbycraft kit is the Monogram kit, and the old Airfix kit has old Airfix kit fit problems.

I will likely choose one of these options: spend the dough on a Hasegawa kit or continue hurting my eyes with a 1/72 Academy kit.

Search for the Tamiya Stuka in 1/48. It's an Italeri rebox, but it's what I bought and it looks to be very nice. Look on eBay, as they can be had for around $40. My LHS had it, but at a little higher price (picked it up for $52). If you want to see what is in it, check out my build thread! Even comes with some PE and a bomb loading set with two figures.
