im liking these big chunky suits, i take it these are the bad guys?

Generally, though it depends upon the series they're from. In this case they're "Zeon" suits and they have a WWII Axis feel to them, chunky and functional.

The Marasia has an interesting story. It was created by Earth using both Earth and Neo-Zeon tech, and given to an anti-zeon task force. Then that task force changed sides to support Zeon.

One of my all time favorite suits ever. The Titans were the group who used these in Zeta Gundam. Such a cool suit looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
