Astaroth's Transformers G1 Starscream

Post by Astaroth »

Ok guys, time for the final reveal of Starscream.

I want to thank Lysus for starting this whole thing. It was my first GB (and my first "real" build if I think about it) and I had a really great time. Not only have I learned so much over the last four month but more importantly I also made some new friends. Thanks Stuart and Jason for always keeping my motivation up and running. :th:

But now, here's Starscream in all his Decepticon glory.

Unfortunately I didn't have any time to properly think about an in-flight mount, so I had to settle for my Tamiya paint stand covered in kitchen roll.

Dude.... a finish well deserved, the work that you have put in has really paid off and brought an 80's icon to life !
Its a unique idea, well presented and executed. You have kept us all well fed with photos and explanations along the way and i think we have all learnt a thing or two from this build.
Congratulations my Friend  :cheers2:
What do you hear ? Nothing but the rain

I second all of that. He looks screen perfect (if that's possible) with enough touches from the comics to make it all come together. I mentioned before that when I do my next seeker your WIP shall be my guide :th:

Those emblems...man I love those emblems. So much better than the home made ones I used. Well done, dude! :cheers2: :cheers2:

Great work! I really like thinking outside the box for the F-15 twist. Man, this is a real blast from the past. I was kind of disappointed they redesigned the Transformers for the new movie series. I knew they wouldn't, but deep down, I really hoped they would. Awesome Starscream, I'll need to keep this in mind for the day I want to go off the radar with a model.
