BF109E-1 following Paul's Aircraft guide revisited

Post by Garion77 »

Hi everyone !
So this is the first time I dare to post pictures of something I'm building. I.m pretty new with airbrush, PE and mostly weathering ! Feel free to comment so I can improve. That is the goal of this post. I had problems with two things to where 'm at. First, when airbrushing the base color, being able to let show through de black primer. Second, again when airbrushing for post shading a lighter color (first time I tried). I had a really hard time for that and drybrush a bit more because of that. So if anyone as advice on that ! For the rest i'm proud of myself. Didn't have any pigments but use pastels instead. Had trouble with fixing the belts in to ! And I didn't have the aftermarket control stick and instrument panel as Paul did. Sorry for the quality of the picture. They are taken with my iphone.

Hi! I think it looks awesome! I'm new to all this too so I'm the wrong person to ask for advice as I don't know what I'm doing. I'll get there eventually. There are plenty of great modelers on here that will help you though. I can't wait to see more of your work.

Nice job!
Practice is the best advice i can give, i was rubbish with an airbrush when i first stared, you just need to find what works best for you.
