"Bonny Anne" 1/9 bust KABUKI Models

Post by fly1ngdutchm4n »

Hi guys!
Something different for a change...
Painted this great bust from KABUKI models that I shared on facebook, wanted to share it here aswel :th:

Image

This resin bust is awesome and very highly detailed.

Image

Just some cleanup at the shirt, the rest is nice and crisp.
Although the details on the hat could be better molded...

Image

After cleanup... needed to be careful not to break the straps....

Image

All together. :D
She's looking great fully dressed, but she does have the option to build her without her shirt showing boobies, but as this bust is not mine and it will be on display on a traders table on shows where kids will be as well, I will paint her fully dressed. I censored a pic to show it here on ISM for kids are welcome here too. :thumb2:

So I began with a dark flesh building it up to light flesh on the top areas
Shades are airbrushed from bottom to top.
Next time I will show you better how I did it, but as all pics are uncensored I will just post this one...

As this is a sexy bust, her blouse is shine trough.... I did that by painting her shirt white first, then with umber painted here nipples and finished it by painting the shirt off white again.
Jacket is finished too, time to go to the parrot.

Image

The parrot I had to google for a color scheme, for I had no clue.
Real happy how it looks.

And when all is done, this is the end result....
All painting was done with Andrea colors by airbrush and hairy stick.

A very nice bust, with some awesome details!
Hope you like it! :th:
