Waterloo 200th Anniversary Coop GB "Sweet William" Update 1

Sweet Modelling
Session 1: Just adding clay for basic human shapes...Right now he looks too sweet, I'll deconstruct it to create an "ugly fatherless person"

Session 2: William Frederickson Is getting older and uglier; his hat has expanded a bit too...

Session 3: That's where I've left it. The clay is basically in its place and now detail work starts...

Modelling Sweet William
I left it here... I added some details on his uniform

A well deserved rest... and some work with that wig

I polished surfaces with sand paper and files

I added more details on his clothes

That's it. it's ready to be painted

Nice work, I have really respect for people how can sculpt what they want. But is the face not too rough? I don't know the guy so I can be that his face is like that offcourse

Wellington about his own men, 'I don't know what they will do to the enemy but by God, they terrify me.'But is the face not too rough?
That bust is looking about right to me. Terrific work.

Waterloo Coop GB Update 3 & Final Reveal

Sweet Colours
That's where I left it... I added strings on his hat

I primed the bust

I used blue and two different green colours

I airbrushed the wig with light grey and sand yellow

I also airbrushed his face with a flesh base colour

I went on adding colour details...

Lights were drybrushed over shadows

His eye was painted

Almost there...

I added brass and... just a dark wash was left...

FINAL REVEAL: SWEET WILLIAM

Thanks for watching!!

Here's a photo of one of the combatants at Waterloo who looks just as scary as the bust. Looks like he still has a thousand yard stare.
