Revell 1/72 Vought F4U-1A Corsair

Post by inso »

First participation on ISM and my third kit I'll be making.. No great expectations, but in the end: as long as it was fun it's just fine :)

The reason I went for this kit is simply the looks of the plane, lots of corsairs in this SiG and for good reason in my opninion :th:
This is the new tool from 2014 so I'm hoping the parts will fall into place quite nicely.

On to the contents of the box:

I'm a bit worried about the colour callouts. As a beginner I'm not too confident to start mixing paints + the fact I'm not using Revell paints.. Oh well, plenty of references to be found to get that sorted.

Extras:
Found this rather good review of this particular kit on youtube, worth the watch I think:

Now, let's get some glue out and start building this thing!

All fixed! (for now at least)

I just really need to handle these tiny bits more carefully. Same thing happened with my 1/72 BF109. Practise makes perfect? :bash:
