Day 60 - Should have gone to Spec Savers

How many ejector pin marks :eeek: How did I not see these before paint?

Gonna need some therapy with a few sanders me thinks.

Day 69 - Adolf Galland (Christmas Project)

No progress on the Messerschmitt for the past week, work and family life has been manic. A while back I mentioned that an accompanying miniature was in the post. A 1/10th bust of Adolf Galland from Mitches Military Models, and some oil paints.

Many years ago I painted a few miltary figures in 120mm scale, never in oils. So though this would be a nice little project to accompany the Messerschmitt in the display case. Aim is to complete the Messerschmitt before my Christmas break, and have a relax break away from work painting this bust.

Well and truly missed the deadline for this. This past month has been manic at work and at home, hardly found any time at the bench. Did manage to find some time to mask up ready for primer.

Its a brilliant and insightful build this, and watched intently as I'm building the Eduard version of this venerable Old Bird.
Great job chap,
DW
Bench:1/35 HobbyBoss Nagmachon with oodles of Aftermarket
Completed: Vespid 1/72 Comet A10
Shelf: Lots (82 Kits of multiple scales) of Armour + couple of Flappy / Wing Things, found a KV2 95% built and primed four years ago. Plus a few Lego Tech kits, to help restore MoJo

A weekend with the decals

It's been a while since my last update. Fuselage has been sprayed and I have spent the weekend applying decals. Hoping to have this bird completed by this time next week.
