shelf of doom

hi guys i have a question
altough.more of a question to Lee,Paul and Ben.
i know it is going to take a while before it starts but i have a question about the shelf of doom gb
i have a 1:35 leopold gun and that is not up to the level i want such a kit to be
so i want to strip.it from it's paint and redo the paint and wheathering and complete that build with a dio and figures
but would that qualify.for the gb ?
this is because.i would have to do some planning and gather some stuff that i would need
and it save time if i have everything ready to go
