So it seems I feel into a bit of a artillery spotter rut.

All the stowage is aftermarket. The figure is from a TriStar crew kit.

The kit:
The kit includes 3 different fronts for the hull. The instructions clearly tell you to use the wrong one, I didn't find out until the glue was dry, lots of cutting, sanding and cursing was needed to put it right, even then the proper driver's hatch was lost in my rage, another one had to be sanded done to fit (the view port is on the wrong side of the hatch, but if you care then you can fix it for me  ).
The muffler and it's supports are just "eye-balled" into place, the actual mounting point is in no way marked or indicated. The instructions also have you do this during the lower hull assembly. Later, when you add the upper hull you find that one of the exhaust pipes is supposed to contact the upper hull, but at that point you've probably mounted it in the wrong spot. If you do build this kit, leave the muffler and mounts off until you have the upper and lower hulls together.

I added the wire frame for the fuel can rack, the model needs extra details added.
That aside I like it, another very small AFV. Also it's another German vehicle built on a captured French hull.

Not only are you on an arty spotter kick, but a griefy but kicking kit kick.
Haha.this one seems to have wanted to not go quietly onto the shelf.
Looks like you won in the end though.
Love the look of this vehicle, a rare and interesting subject in modelling. I haven't seen many.
I love that idea... If you want it built right, come build it yourself... Haha awesome!
Great looking build Nick! Great choice in subjects too.

Thanks guys!

Rare? Seems to be, very little info and only a single photo turned up in a google search.

And gee, if only something like my attitude could be put on a T-shirt... . Send me your rivet-counters, I'll make them cry one way or another. :bash:
