Inbox Review - Hobby Boss 1/72 T-50 PAK-FA

Post by Orbyn »

Hello,

Here is a quick inbox review of this 5th generation Russion jet by Hobby Boss. There are some pretty good YouTube videos on this plane. I will try to include them in my build log.

I like the box art and the packaging is excellent. At first glance the instruction seem adequate; the color call out sheet is very well done. It does not appear to have the most detail, but as I am only back to the hobby a short time I am not sure how good of a judge I am.

I forgot to get shots of the clear parts. I do have pics of the instructions if anyone is interested.

Looks like a fairly straightforward build. I will try to answer questions if there are any.

Hope you enjoy.

Naturally you'll paint the blue splinter scheme! That's a hot plane that I was thinking of getting.

Naturally...

I love the blue paint scheme, the other does not interest me. But, I have never done splinter scheme before, hopefully it goes well!

Thanks, I enjoyed your review. I will have to look at my kit and see if has the same marks you are referring to.

Thanks, I just put the ejection seat together, do you feel it's huge aswell? When I compare to other 1/72 it looks like a damn throne!

Yes, it does seem out of scale to me as well. The whole thing seems to big to me, but I still like it overall.
