This spitfire is a photo-recon version and the scheme I will be doing was based in my country

Here's the boxart

Here is what's going on the spitfire so far
I painted up the cockpit using Humbrol 78 enamel

I also glued up the wings and painted it too..

Later I protect the clear parts with Humbrol Maskol good stuff

After the paints dried up last night I glued up the fuselage the fit well... is not that good I have to use a lot of clamps and FILLER!!!!

After much intense sanding and cursing Its time for me to prime up the Spitfire. For those who can't get AK primers or Vallejo primers I would recommend to use this as an alternate

This is the very first time I'm using this as I don't normally prime my kits so its an fun experience and note this primer MUST be thin well or it will cause the paint to come out like spider webs

In conclusion Tamiya's liquid surface primer comes in handy for intermediate rookie's like me. That's all for now next will be painting the main colours and decalling so stay tunned
Cheers
Matt
