Post by T3hGuppy »

So I will be doing this one aswell as Radzy.

Will be a nice change of pace doing 1/72 and a heli.

One with the sprue shots.

Nicely bagged seperatly with delicate parts wraped in foam.

Clear parts are very good as I've come to expect from Hobby Boss.

I am going for this scheme which is the one for the box art.

Hoping for a nice quick build with this one. and also to learn something about this aircraft as currently I know nothing lol.

Nice choice Guppy ;-)

I must admin I'm very impressed with these helicopter kits from Hobby Boss - Even though there are not PE parts included the interior details are really satisfactory and with some simple touches like drybrushing and highlighting some details on cockipt panels you can really make fantastic looking interior.

Good Luck, soon I will join you :) ... but first ... those kits for Cold War Era build...

Hey Guppy,
Nice subject. I see a few of us are building Russian choppers. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle the HobbyBoss kit.

Do not look at the seam on my clear canopy part then. Worst clear part I ever had.
Nice to see you have started building.

Update time.

Only a small update but thought id get a little more done the this,

Interior has been sprayed. The blue is a pretty good match for the reference pics I found but will tone down with a bit of weathering.
