Hi
I recently purchased a set of ABER 24012 - 1:24 Wipers. I have absolutely no idea how they actually attach to the car as their is no pin on the wipers that I can use to attach them to a drilled hole in the car. Anyone used these before? Any tips?

Re: Photo etch wipers
Looks like you might need to put a little pin on the car itself and connect to the hole on the arm
I can't post pics from my work computer, but will try to help more later.

Re: Photo etch wipers
I'm just thinking out loud here but does the plastic kit wiper fit 'inside' the PE folds ?
Money is'nt everything but it sure keep's the kid's in touch.
Re: Photo etch wipers
No they attach to the other end
Re: Photo etch wipers
Hi there,
if I'm not mistaken, the product instructions indicate that the PE wipers be located on or below the windscreen, without any fixation points.
You can view the instructions here, bottom image.

Thanks Tommy, yes I have the instructions. It looks as though I will have to straddle the PE wipers on the bottom frame of the windscreen? This will mean when I install the front windscreen that it won't fit flush on the frame unless I sand out a nook for the wipers to sit into?Tommy124 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 11:43 am Hi there,

Re: Photo etch wipers
Yes Richo, it would appear to be so. I would suggest to add a (very) small piece of thin plastic rod to the bottom of the PE parts, as a vertical connection point, and in order to balance out the height of the windscreen frame...Richo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 10:57 pmThanks Tommy, yes I have the instructions.
