Aur0ra145's Suyata Fokker DR.I & Red Baron - Final Reveal

Post by aur0ra145 »

Howdy folks!

Finished up this years submission to the Egg-build. I took a half boiled approach this year with minimal painting due to the molded colors working well. It was somewhat of a hard egg to crack as the locator pins were a really tight fit. Thankfully, reaming the holes with my hobby knife seemed to do the trick. The Baron is somewhat of an egg-head and sorta looks towards the ground making photos a bit hard boiled. Though, I'm happy with the overall egg-ceptional result.

Thanks for looking!

aur0ra145, you crack me up (in a Humpty Dumpty sort of way). Cute build and the natural finish does not detract at all, smart move. Now that this Focker is done, what's next?

I'm torn between starting something in 1/48 for the drop-in or waiting for the Maritime GB to start here in about 2 weeks.
