I thinks that it would depend on what scale you were building it in. How big is that stuff.

If you want to experiment on that stuff Sebastian, cut out a piece or two and try using different glues to attach it to a sheet of styrene, then try a few primers on it to see how it takes paint.
From the look of it, it would be about 1/25th- 1/16th, depending on the vehicle that you choose.

i clued it onto the bottum of a wing from a totaly **** up build with my Revell contacta Prof. and it sticks very well

Then i sprayed some Black paint over it to see if it would hold it

This is the result:

Well... it certainly looks like zimmerit... You might be on to something Sebastian buddy!
If you can find something that would be the appropriate scale to it you'd be in business.

Damn close... Dude. If you can get the edges to play nice and be smooth you just found a zimmerit replacer.
It might be a tiny bit thick and the runs a tiny bit small, but for Tiger and King Tiger zimmerit it might work.

Only a few Jagpanthers had zimmerit on them Sabastian, and it was a different pattern than what was on the Tiger and Tiger II
Some PZ IVs had that pattern too but the rows were much smaller.

Ok..... that I didn't know I thought that they would bring the zimmerit on the same way no matter what model.

Sorry buddy. Tigers and king tigers had pretty much the same, but the rest had a variety of patterns. Some panthers had this one too, but smaller rows.
