#23 Airfix 1:72 English Electric Canberra B(I)8

Post by Sdkfz250 »

I am aware that when I originally signed up to join in with this S.I.G, I inserted a photo of Revell's Do-215 as my intended project, however, between then and now an utter gem of a kit (in my humble opinion) has come into my possession. Therefore it is with bated breath that I announce my entry into the Bomber builds with this:
Image

While I am not entirely sure which scheme from the box (or perhaps not from the box) I am doing at present, I am entirely sure that this is the kit I intend to start and finish before the closing date of the S.I.G, so while I, no doubt like the rest of you, am enjoying the variety of aircraft lined up at the moment, I thought I'd add a little more British flavour to the field alongside the Mossies, Lancs and the Vulcan.

So without any further ado, here come the pics of the box internals:

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I'm stuck on the Ostfront...and so are f**king you!

Nice looking kit. Whenever I see a Canberra I always think of Rory Underwood, the Leicester and England rugby player. Back in the days when the sport was amateur, he was in the RAF and flew Canberras. Useless trivia but that's how my mind works.
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.
