Yep that does it, three against so we are going back to grey.

Continuing with Pilot Humpty..... I have cut off his head and pinned his back and neck to he can fit into an angled chair on the grass.
I am using the kit's pilot chair as the base for an armchair he will be exhaustedly resting in

This is more of a serious egg plane display than my silly ones in the past, oh well

Decals are on and time to heavy weather. Ok this is a bit new for me.
Some aluminum dry brush for chipping/wear; Ak pigments for exhaust stains and then cotton buds streamed across all the surfaces with pigment; Ultimate light dirt rubbed and pulled along the flight lines and onto the wheels and such.
She is the dirtiest bird I have ever done...see what you think

Good to see that Humpty is Whole again.
It's definitely looking the part, I love the scratch-built beach chair.
Is that a Beer in Humpty's hard, or is that just my wishful thinking?
Its a great looking kit, I've folded and ordered one myself - plus the Me109 from Tiger as well.

Plane is finished now, have to work on the figure and his chair
The base, grass and runway need to be sorted, but I hopefully have handle on all that lot
Hope the rest of the sparse 'eggers' get on with their builds

Well that's rattled along nicely - the Spit looks great, but really love the work you've done with Humpty and his chair

Hope you didn't shell out too much for the extra bits though

"Scramble"

I see what you did there. Nice egg reference. Point of trivia, its assumed Humpty Dumpty was an egg as it is not mentioned in the rhyme......

Mind you, scrambling the fella may be problematical given at last count he hasn't got any arms! I know Bader managed it, but it might be a bridge too far for Flight Lieutenant Dumpty

Flt Lt Humpty will soon have arms
He cannot fall out of his chair as he has a rod inserted in his, ummm, posterior portions ;)
