Richard's Scratch-built Heinkel He-111

Post by WorldofPlastic »

Well having narrowed down the playing field and finding that doing a hind may be a little bit adventurous I've decided to focus on the Heinkel 111 .... the plane practically already looks eggish in shape and then I saw the following artwork that a chap by the name blackheartart I just fell in love with the concept ... And I then thought its time to bring it alive in 3d Model form

First part to work on is trying to get the main fuselage section crafted ... for this I used on old shell from a Hasegawa Mig-15 that had had all of its detail trimmed off and cut open ... I then took my Dremel to the shell to allow for the hull to be made wider with plasticard inserts.

Wow,...... I’m not sure that this will be simpler to do than a Hind.
Love the drawing.
Looks great, I’ll definitely be watching this one with a lot of enthusiasm for sure - You’re off to an impressive start.
