It actually looks like a really cool little kit. The only downside is it only comes with stickers. No decals. But they are mostly for the floors on the lower deck and the stripes on the upper deck, so I think I'm going to use them like masks. The fit and detail appear to be really nice though. It was a bit more expensive than the World War Toons tanks. Almost $30. I'll post sprues after work tonight, and hopefully get started during the auction tomorrow.

So here is some progress on the Lex. Slow going due to working an insane amount of hours. I have one more off day before the build ends. It's gonna be clutch.

Sub-assemblies are done. Still have lots of painting to do. Of course, I just ran out of primer and now my airbrush is clogged! However, we shall go on! Yes, dear friends, we shall endeavor to persevere!!! I will actually finish on time! Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!

Still have a lot of work to do. Made good progress today though. The AK Interactive paints are marvelous when sprayed through the air brush! They do require several coats when brush painting touch-ups. The deck has now been sprayed with AK deck blue, but when I pulled up the masking tape, it pulled up some of the yellow paint I had laid down for the deck markings. The planes are assembled (except for one). Will prime them before work today. I think I can finish the basic painting and assembly, but weathering may not be an option to make the deadline. Will post pics and update after work tonight.

Well Fellows, we gave it our best shot. Alas, I have run out of time. Another three hours of bench time, and I would have made it. If the reveal is still open tomorrow, I will post the final pictures there. If not I will add them to Friday Night Show It's a shame I won't be considered as finishing the build, but it was a lot of fun and a fantastic little kit. I can't recommend it enough. Good luck everybody

Scratch that! I'm not going to rush this. I just did my first dry fit mock up and I'm not going to compromise on this kit for the sake of making it a "quick build". I will take the time to go back and fix my little mistakes and make this something to be proud of. It does have potential. This is where I am right now with the build. I hope you guys like it so far. It is a little bit sloppy right now, but at least you can see what a cool kit it will be when it's built up right.
