I was thinking a vintage AMT VW Scirocco 2-in-1 kit or the Revell US Porsche 914. They have "race" parts and amateur racing graphics included.

I did see a cool Revell US VW Golf Valvoline team car on eBay.

On second thought, I don't think I'll enter this build because of shipping times, my build pace, and the approaching deadline.
