This is what I'm building. Am going to have to strip the engine and trans as both are chromed :bash:

Stripped entire chrome tree. Soaked in brake fluid for 2 days, scrubbed then soaked in Dawn over night. More scrubbing next morning left me with 99.8% clean white plastic. Minor clean-up with a pick and an assortment of Ultimate products, and I was ready to build.
Underpinnings completed, less minor detail painting. Minor fitment issue between trans and trans mount, self made problem most likely.

Interior and it parts in base color, Tamiya XF-69 Nato black, still have decals and detail painting left. Also body and exterior parts painted in Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal, still have to wet sand and clear coat it.

As you folks can see, I'm not going to make the cut off date :wall: . I will continue to work on this and post more pics. Congratulations to all who finished and to the winners!!
