Interplanetary Heavy Bomber final reveal!

Post by Madmattmodels89 »

Year 2090. Earth is scorched with war and energy supplies are projected to be depleted in the next 2 years thus pushing man kind to seek alternatives, space exploration had been deemed the only option. During a battle between the US led coalition (USA,UK,Europe and Canada) and the New Federation of Comunist powers (Russia,China,North Korea) a new type of energy source (Helium III) has been discovered on Earth, but it's quantities are limited and located in the Amazon forest which has led South America to be battleground for the newly formed superpowers. Researchers therefore turned the sight to other planets for signs of the molecular signature of this now vital mineral, founding nearly unlimited quantities on Mars, and more modest stockpiles on the moon. This pushed both superpowers to have their top engineers, physicist and researchers develop new warbirds capable of long range strikes, ready to drop their heavy payload anywhere in between the earth-moon-Mars axis.
Soon based on the available technology and some groundbreaking advancements in turbine engines(Lockheed Interstellar propulsor) a new breed of long range warbirds was born.
Today I have the uttermost honor to present you one of the early models of Heavy Bombers that have made the history of the Mars colonization by the US coalition to control the Helium III quarries and the following wars between superpowers to gain total control of them.
With their deadly nuclear payloads, wing tearing Vulcan guns, super advanced locking missiles, and superior speed and agility, this new breed of bombers truly ruled the worlds!
I present "The Interplanetary Heavy Bomber" "Warhawk".

Sorry for the long intro I have been working on it for a while and I wanted to explain more or less how I got the idea for the kitbash.
This build was fun and I hope you guys enjoyed the back story as well!

As always comments and criticism is well appreciated!

Looks way cool mate. Love the shark mouth and really creative backstory. Looks like a sweet helium 3 protector to me.

Fantastic, and with a backstory! Of course Lockheed is there to make a profit :nena:

It looks like you had some great fun slamming this bird together from bits into a polished whole. It really looks like a prop for a film now, complete with some great decal choices. Bravo!
