Firstly a Wappynutter Disclaimer for the Noob-ness and bufoonery that is sure to be found amongst this build thread..
Turning junk into prize winning pieces i may be capable of...... building a 1/25 scale car kit i most certainly am not!
Never once have i had interest as such or followed ANY car builds other than the usual Jeep or truck from military service. That's not to say i don't admire a real nice finished kit, i just never find the scale and build process interesting. Sorry!...
I have seen some excellent "Car" builds on YouTube, some fantastic hotrod's etc.. from the Tom Daniel's GB running on there.... again though, i haven't taken a blind bit of notice of the build processes, only the finished pieces.
"So why are you here?" i hear you say?... Well i am here for The Bro-In-law... Not Son-In-law Mr Gingerspook.. lol...
... and for you guys on the forum.. my build will be the light comic relief. Time is tight.... Mojo has gone but i will give it my best shot..
This kit is actually quite special... It has passed through many hands, Man-handled by the PoP no less and kindly donated not once... NO... but TWICE!
Viewed by many members and been wanted by most here... It is of course, the Donated Monogram Dan Fink's Speedwagon from the MEGA Christmas prize draw won by our very own "KingDan" and re-donated to his poor old In-law.
So firstly... Thanks to 4 guys on ISM... Lee and Paul for the Mega draw, Wes for his kind donation into the draw, and lastly Dan for passing the kit to me on the promise i enter the build and get a thread up.
Any questions about the kit should be directed at previous owners as i aint got a clue!.. lol..
... and when i say second hand and previous owners, look i found the V5 log book/registration documents...

See 4 former keepers....

Box art here....

So i carefully opened the box and took some pictures before closing it up again... lol..
Instruction booklet and step by step instructions..

Decals..

... and parts....

Chrome parts!!!.... What the heck do i do with these pieces?? Bleach and a good soaking i take it?

... and one plastic bag of white plastic parts... Didn't open it for fear of losing anything for now...

So... here it is... still in its box, looking... taunting me....
I'll be seeking help and advise guys.... Not got a clue.... Will look fantastic when finished i'm sure.... if someone else builds and paints it... Haha...
Oh well, Hope everybody else's build are going well...
Until next time, Stay safe, keep well...
Happy Modelling.
