Hank's Jagdpanzer IV L/48 Diorama Final Reveal

Post by Hank »

Greetings, everybody.

This is my final reveal of my Jagdpanzer IV. This is the very first SiG or GB I've taken part in and I have to say it was a lot of fun, especially keeping up with the other builds. The kit I used for this model was Dragon's 2015 Jagdpanzer IV L/48 July 1944 Production w/Zimmerit and I think about four or five others were using this particular kit in this SiG. For me, the kit was pretty disappointing but fortunately during the build stages, there was a lot of cooperation between builds in identifying things like instruction mistakes. I know I certainly benefited from that.

I'd wanted to display an AFV vertically for a while now. The Jagdpanzer IV with it's low profile was ideal for this so I'm very happy with how it turned out. Given the time of year, it was very easy to find inspiration for the landscape by looking out my window :D.

Without much further ado, the pictures.

Wow that is quite the diorama - did not expect that. Makes those chains hanging off the unit look great.
