Flanger? I just had an e mail off a friend (who knows nothing about kits or planes) to tell me that Debenhams are doing Airfix 1/24 kits at half price. 'One of them was the Submarine Spitfire' ...bless her.
Regards, Dave.

I like Flanger better than Flanker. Bit like Flange innit...

The Sukhoi Flange, now there's a name for an aircraft.

Nice review thanks!
This is actually the Chinese one, or at least its Chinese markings.
So, Russian built aircraft but Chinese attack/fighter plane.
Not to be confused with the Chinese J-15 which is a home grown copy of the SU-30(3).
(copied the airframe, and chinese engines, avionics and radar)

The colour and marking page is a bit vague...
But the markings included are (copied from Hyperscale review):
PLA Naval Aviation 4th Division / 10th Fighter Regiment, Feidong AB, Anhui.
This '81041/01' was one of the 24 Su-30MKK2 the PLA Naval Aviation received from Russia in 2004.
And
Su-30 MKK of the Air Force Flight Test & Training Base, 3rd Regiment, Cangzhou AB, Hebei.
You are given enough tail numbers to produce other aircraft from the Air Force Flight Test & Training Base, 3rd Regiment.

You can build a Russian aircraft with aftermarket decals.

:cheers2:
