Latest completed project: GW Bloodthirster

Post by CovBowman »

Just completed the New games Workshop release the Blood-thirster.Most of these models are painted with lots of red tones so I figured I'd go with a blue palette and finish the wings with a flesh tone approach. Overall I'm pleased though some of my smaller brush-strokes for picking out tiny details needs a little more work. Also tried some directional lighting for the first time with the flames illuminating the ground (next time I might try it on the model...if I get brave enough.)ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Praise be to Chaos! lol.

Not seen a Bloodthirster done in blue before, looks awesome! Really nicely painted there. And you got the source lighting on the base spot on, cracking work!

Really amazing. I'm so many years from achieving the skills to paint on this level.
Inspiring. Keep up the good work!
